Alec Kokinis – Biography
Alec Kokinis is a father, grandfather, family businessman and retired academic. He has served Keltruck at Board level since its incorporation in 1983.
Alec was born in Wolverhampton in 1942 and educated at Wolverhampton Grammar School.
He has an M.A. from the University of Oxford, an M.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Hull as well as a Diploma in Adult Education from the University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of both The Chartered Governance Institute and of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development where he held elective office.
Following 35 years in various management roles across industries as diverse as nuclear research, air transport, electronic engineering and heavy engineering Alec returned to academia and for 20 years taught business related topics at postgraduate level. He claims he has no intention of retiring!
His interests include gardening, steam railways and football. Having little football talent himself, he spent 40 years as a referee in local Sunday leagues and is a passionate fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
