Local firm Midland Brick Fabrications Ltd, based in Drakelow, Burton on Trent came to Keltruck when their business required a larger vehicle to support their growing business.
They have just taken delivery of a 2007 P230DB 4×2 MNA Sleeper cab, supplied by Keltruck Used Sales – West Bromwich by Account Manager Alan Hill. The vehicle was fitted with triple drop sides and given a respray before being sign written and delivered to the customer.
Managing Director of Midland Brick Fabrications Ltd, Mark Gillespie, commented “We had been looking to replace our current 7½ tonne Iveco with a larger vehicle as the business has grown. We had been looking at various options and after talking to other people in the trade who operate larger vehicles we came to the conclusion that Scania was the way forward. Our 7½ tonner has served us well but as work has increased we have found that we needed to go larger. This is our first 18 tonne vehicle and our only vehicle; this means that it was a very serious decision to make.

The vehicle will be in operation across UK delivering hand cut bricks to building sites and will be on a five year service plus contract with Keltruck Burton on Trent.
