It’s International Women’s Day and here at Keltruck Scania we firmly believe women have a critical role to play in driving our industry forward. Representation matters and we lead by example and hope that Finance Director and shareholder Tracey Joynes and her deputy Rebecca Watson will inspire other women to aim for leadership positions within our sector.
Tracey joined Keltruck in January 2000 as a cashier. She was promoted to Management Accountant in September 2003, to Chief Accountant in March 2007 and to Finance Director in December 2008.
As well as being a day to celebrate women, we recognise #IWD is also a call to action. The transport, distribution and logistics sector has historically been male dominated. We are proud of our culture of inclusion at Keltruck and committed to continuing efforts to ensure our sector is one in which women feel enthused and welcome to join.
