At the end of a very busy 20th year in business we have sold & delivered 385 new trucks & 327 used trucks. Our order book for next year is a healthy 185.
I have enjoyed celebrating this 20th year (my 6th year with the company), the highlights of which were taking our longest serving employees on a trip to the Scania factory in Sweden &, of course, the big party in the summer. I am sure that Chris will not forget another big party at the end of August that I was also privileged to be part of!
I am also delighted that this year we have successfully recruited 10 apprentices in the group & celebrated another Scania Apprentice of the Year award with Matthew Charles (Cheltenham). As I have said before, the people in Keltruck are the most important ingredient & the recipe for our continuing success.
I would also like to announce that Steve Hughes will take over operational responsibility for Tamworth, Rugby & Coventry from 1st January. Steve will keep responsibility for Group Parts Stock management & Terry Retter will keep responsiblity for service administration at Tamworth, Coventry & Rugby.
All that remains for me to say is thank you all for your hard work & have a very merry Christmas & a happy New Year.
