Tanker support
In addition to all the above, Scania also offers a nationwide tanker support service, covering all aspects of tanker maintenance including mandatory Vapour Tightness and ADR Leakproof testing for petroleum tankers. In cooperation with our Competent Authority Partners, we can also provide a Written Scheme of Examination in line with specific customer requirements.

Ancillary equipment
Scania has extensive experience of installing and maintaining a wide range of ancillary equipment including tail-lifts, refrigeration systems and shutter doors, and provides full legal compliance services, such as LOLER testing, wherever required. Today, we work in partnership with many leading ancillary equipment suppliers and have integrated their replacement parts into our own supply chain system.

Scania Assistance
All Scania trailer servicing work is fully guaranteed and covered by the nationwide Scania Assistance roadside assistance service. That means in the unlikely event of your trailer breaking down on the road, one call to Scania assistance will ensure a quick attendance to get your trailer back in service as rapidly as possible. With an average call-out time of just 60 minutes, Scania Assistance is available no matter where or when you need it. The service includes roadside assistance or, if need be, recovery to the nearest Scania service centre.

Accident management
Scania has recently launched a new Accident Management and Repair Network, a nationwide service which includes damage to trailers. In the event of an accident, we can take care of everything – from recovery of the trailer, through all liaison with insurance companies, to returning your trailer to the road and ready for service in the shortest possible time.
